Although buying a life insurance policy through the mail may have been a decent alternative a few years ago, today it pales when compared to the positives of buying online.

Compare terms, rates, company ratings, and talk with a trusted agent (or a recommended agent) to see whether the company is legitimate. Make sure that you can actually talk with someone at the company itself.
